Ian Wilson is Associate Principal at DTJ Design with nearly 20 years’ experience leading hospitality, resort, residential, and mixed-use projects in mountain and destination markets. In the past ten years, he has delivered over 200 condominium units and 500,000 square feet of development. His work emphasizes sustainable, resilient, world-class design that enhances guest experience, operational efficiency, and asset value.
Since 2016, Ian has advanced sustainable hospitality and mountain community design in Snowmass Village and Vail Village, leading the first net-zero and multi-story mass timber projects for East West Partners. He is now managing two new projects in Breckenridge for Breckenridge Grand Vacations, aiming to set new standards in hospitality design, amenities, and luxury.

At DTJ, Ian leads the firm’s goal-setting, leadership, and mentorship programs. He is Co-Chair of Colorado’s RETL Product Council and active in ULI. A Colorado native, Ian lives in Denver with his wife and daughter and enjoys cycling and the outdoors.
