Jamy Bacchus is a senior member of ME Engineers’ Building Performance group. He is a mechanical engineer, energy modeler and sustainability consultant with 30 years of experience designing building systems for green buildings and net zero energy projects. Jamy has been named a LEED Fellow by the GBCI, recognizing his exceptional expertise, impactful contributions in teaching and research, and strong leadership and commitment to LEED. He currently serves as the Chair of the USGBC’s Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group (EA TAG) to the LEED Rating System where he is leading discussions on how LEED v5 is updated to better reflect the urgency around carbon. He is also a voting member of the LEED Technical Committee. Jamy frequently presents at Greenbuild and ASHRAE on carbon and energy codes.
