Mr. Levine is a member of the acquisition team and leads CapRidge’s acquisition efforts in select Southeast markets and the Mountain West region. This includes analyzing new markets, sourcing deals, preparing financial models, underwriting assets, and performing transaction due diligence. Additionally, he assists in the ongoing effort to acquire additional Texas-based properties, as well as in the continued asset management of the Fund’s growing portfolio.

Before joining CapRidge, Mr. Levine spent eight years with Pearson Partners, Inc., a New York-based real estate investment, advisory and consulting firm. At Pearson, he was responsible for asset managing the firm’s ~$250 million core and value-add portfolio of retail and office properties in Pittsburgh, and underwriting potential acquisitions in other markets across the country. He worked closely with Pearson’s principals to develop the firm’s financial models and asset management infrastructure, and to complete multiple financings, capital raises, lease negotiations, and new-tenant installations. Additionally, Mr. Levine appraised over $5 billion of commercial real estate assets, including several noteworthy New York City properties such as One Times Square, South Street Seaport, and Google’s new east coast headquarters.

Mr. Levine has a bachelor degree in Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University, and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
