As Senior Director of Leasing for BioMed Realty in Boulder, Jennifer Chavez leads leasing strategy for one of Colorado’s most dynamic portfolios supporting life science, quantum, and technology innovation. She oversees leasing for both existing assets and ground-up developments, forging strategic partnerships that advance Boulder’s—and Colorado’s—position as a premier hub for research, commercialization, and emerging technology.

With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Jennifer has directed leasing, operations, and marketing initiatives for a diverse client base ranging from Fortune 500 companies and global REITs to local tenants and investors. She is recognized for combining data-driven strategy with a highly collaborative, tenant-focused approach that delivers durable, long-term results.

Earlier in her career, Jennifer served as Director of Global Corporate Services at Newmark, where she managed complex, multi-market corporate portfolios and contributed to several of Denver’s most notable mixed-use and urban redevelopment projects, including Village Center Station, the Dairy Block, The Current River North, and North Wynkoop. She also represented major corporate occupiers such as Danone North America, Liberty Global, and Intrepid Potash.

Jennifer currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado BioScience Association and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her deep commitment to economic development, industry collaboration, and the continued growth of Colorado’s innovation ecosystem.
