Justin Cooper serves as president of Saunders Construction, LLC and Saunders Express, LLC, and is responsible for overall leadership and results for the company’s Denver-based construction operations. He is charged with leading company-wide strategic business planning and initiatives — working closely with corporate functions and operations to optimize resources to meet internal goals and client expectations.
In addition to construction operations, Cooper is responsible for corporate oversight of the marketing and communications, business development, and preconstruction departments of Saunders Construction.
Known for his team-centered approach to project and business management, Cooper strives to create, sustain and continuously evolve a better way of building. His passion for creation across the continuum of Saunders’ services is reflected in his commitment to Saunders’ employees, clients and community.
Cooper has 21 years of construction industry experience and joined Saunders in 2016. Over the years, Cooper has served in project development, preconstruction, construction management and corporate leadership roles on multiple large-scale, complex projects across the Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions. He excels at integrating high performance teams to deliver tangible results on complex projects across healthcare, office, residential, judicial, sports, recreation and cultural facility markets.
Cooper is an active member of the community and serves on the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Board of Directors, the Executive Committee of the Denver Metro Chamber of Economic Development Corporation and the Volunteers of America Colorado Branch Board of Directors.
