Kate joined Eaton Senior Communities in June 2015 as the Resident Services Coordinator. In 2018, she was promoted to Director of Community Development. In 2021, Kate was promoted to Director of Strategic Initiatives. In her role, she oversees marketing, fundraising, research and strategic planning. Kate earned an undergraduate degree in ‘Program Coordination for Integrative Health’ from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Prior to joining ESC’s staff, Kate interned at Eaton and won the ‘Intern of the Year’ award from Metropolitan State University of Denver in recognition of her work at Eaton. In 2017, she was a co-recipient of the ‘Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Award for Health Equity’ through LeadingAge. Kate is a Fellow of the 2018 LeadingAge Leadership Academy. Additionally in 2018, Kate was recognized by LeadingAge Colorado as an ‘Emerging Leader’ and MSU Denver’s ‘10 Under 10 Recent Important Alumni’. In 2019, Kate was also recognized an Emerging Health Scholar by the Aspen Institute and as a GenXYZ Top 50 Must Influential Young Professionals by ColoradoBiz Magazine. She has spoken professionally on a variety of topics at venues including LeadingAge National Conference and the American Association of Services Coordinators National Conference. Kate is currently pursuing her graduate degree ‘Strategic Leadership in Healthcare Organizations’ at the University of Denver. When not working, you are like to find Kate spending time with her partner, two dogs and two cats, hiking in the mountains, practicing yoga at home or cooking something delicious.
