Kim Sims has over 22 years in the commercial real estate industry, including time in Southern California as a Director of Leasing and Business Development for companies including CNA Enterprises, Urban Development, and Goldman Retail Associates where she worked on real estate and development transactions for national brands such as Rite Aid, Jack in the Box, Kroger and McDonalds.

In 2007 she was recruited by Sunflower Markets as Director of Real Estate and moved her family to Denver from Los Angeles.

She also took on an instrumental role as Development Manager for Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins in the market entry and roll out in the Southwest.

Kim is now Director of Real Estate Development for Alvarado Concepts which is one of the largest Taco Bell franchisee’s in the Yum Brands system.    With over 200 stores in Colorado, California, New Mexico and Texas, Kim oversees new development and asset management of the existing portfolio.
