Kristen Pfister is a Consultant with the Applied Research + Consulting team focusing on workplace strategy and change management. With an interior design background, she has 14 years of experience within Steelcase focusing on how to enhance the workplace experience through research, human-centered design thinking methodologies, and linking business and cultural strategy with spatial strategies. Prior to Steelcase, she was an Interior Designer in the Washington, D.C. area with an emphasis on corporate and government workplaces. Kristen is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, a certified Interior Designer (NCIDQ), a LEED Accredited Professional, and holds a certificate from IDEO U in Advanced Design Thinking. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Virginia Tech.
