Laura has more than 25 years of experience in the senior living and aging services industry. She has been the president and CEO at LeadingAge Colorado since 1994. In that role she has lobbied the Colorado legislature for many bills that benefit the senior living and aging service industry, as well as provided ongoing advocacy to help shape policy and clarify regulations. She is a member of the Colorado Society of Association Executives and American Society of Association Executives.
Laura is a graduate of the 2005 Healthcare Leadership class of the Bighorn Center on Public Policy. She received a master’s degree from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree from Salem College, and has earned the designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives.
