Leon is a Senior Managing Director and co-Head of the Denver office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Leon specializes in originating debt and equity transactions across all property types, with an emphasis on multifamily, industrial, and mixed- use assets throughout the United States. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in more than $10 billion of commercial real estate transactions and has been recognized numerous times by real estate trade organizations for the deals he has capitalized.
Leon started at HFF in October 2012. Before that, he was a vice president at Commerce Bank, where he underwrote and closed more than $500 million in loan transactions. He began his commercial real estate career at Commerce Bank as a credit analyst.
He is a frequent participant and panelist at industry events hosted by the University of Colorado Real Estate Center, NAIOP, ULI, and Colorado Real Estate Journal, and is known for his deep knowledge of the capital markets and his ability to structure creative financing solutions that align with client goals.
