Lynn Deegan is the Managing Director of Project Management in Denver, bringing to her role more than 20 years of experience in the construction and real estate industry. As a player/coach, Lynn’s primary focus is leadership of the talented professionals she oversees. She has a strong interest in the development and upward mobility of each individual team member. Mindful of the skillset that each person brings, Lynn strives to match projects with appropriate Project Managers, in a manner that maximizes the opportunity for success.

As a Project Executive (coach), Lynn remains involved in the complete life cycle of a project, including qualifying pursuits, achieving award of projects,   visioning with the client, aligning the vision with the most compatible Project Manager to execute the work, and monitoring project status from inception to close. Lynn steps into the conversation about project issues if an additional rational voice is helpful to move that topic forward.

As a Project Manager (player), Lynn manages a number of projects personally. With an emphasis on setting client expectations and communicating project progress, Lynn’s goal is to maintain a firm grasp of the client’s vision, assemble a strong project team, and ensure that their individual achievements all contribute to one overall project success.

Experience

Prior to joining CBRE, Lynn held various roles in the Project and Development Services group at JLL. Most recently she was the Americas Lead Trainer, charged with the duty of onboarding new professionals. The majority of Lynn’s 12-year tenure was committed to delivering successful projects across a variety of industry sectors, including commercial tenant fit-out, hospitality, industrial, multifamily and technology.

Lynn also has three years of experience as an associate attorney focused on matters of Construction Litigation, typically Mechanics Lien or Breach of Contract claims. Prior to that, she was a Mechanical Engineer for an engineering firm, designing mechanical systems and coordinating the work of all engineering disciplines for seven years.
