Mark P. Peppercorn, Senior Vice President for Simpson Housing LLLC, is responsible for acquisitions and dispositions as well as placing joint-venture equity for development opportunities in the western half of the U.S.   Mr. Peppercorn was a former Senior Vice President for Archstone Communities, where he was also responsible for acquisitions and dispositions in the Western U.S.  His career with Archstone was bifurcated by a stint as the Director of Development for Glenborough-Pauls, LLC, in San Francisco, California.  Prior to that, Mr. Peppercorn had spent eight years with Archstone-Smith and its predecessor, Security Capital Pacific Trust, in various Western and Southeastern U.S. locations.  Mr. Peppercorn’s other work experience includes positions with Security Capital Markets Group, where he was a licensed Securities Principal as well as time in the real estate brokerage business with JLL, Eastdil Realty, Inc. and Transwestern Property Company.  Mr. Peppercorn received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
