Matt Alvarado began working for Kiewit Building Group upon graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2006. Over the past 16 years with the company, Alvarado has held roles from estimating and field engineer to project management, and now serves as a project executive focused on the vertical build market.

Alvarado’s combined experience and roles at Kiewit have fostered and developed a thorough understanding of the industry and the entire construction process. In his role as a project executive, he is responsible for driving Kiewit Building Group’s innovative solutions in today’s ever-changing construction and development landscape.

Alvarado is a graduate of the Downtown Denver Leadership Program class of 2021 and serves as the chair of the American Cancer Society’s Big Dig Denver event held in September to support pediatric cancer awareness.
