Mike Landes serves as Senior Economic Development Manager for the Aurora Economic Development Council, providing expertise in business development, federal policy advocacy, and specific knowledge of Colorado’s largest advanced industries. Before Joining AEDC in 2025, Mike worked for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade for over five years, including a three-year stint as the state’s lead for business attraction and retention. Prior to his work at OEDIT, Mike served as the North Carolina Association of Realtors’ Director of Political Operations and Economic Development Policy. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Duke University Sanford School. Originally from New York, Mike enjoys skiing, creative writing, and rooting for disappointing sports teams.
