As President and Chief Executive Officer, Ray Pittman provides overall leadership of the McWhinney team and oversees the development and execution of the company’s strategic business plans. With more than three decades of experience in the real estate industry, Ray is primarily responsible for the strategic growth of the company, leading McWhinney’s transformation into a world-class development and investment firm, while creating unprecedented long-term value and opportunity for investors, associates, and the communities in which McWhinney operates.

Prior to McWhinney, Ray served in multiple senior leadership roles with CBRE, including as Global Chief Client Officer overseeing account management and client experience programs, and as President and CEO of CBRE’s Pacific Region managing more than 2,500 employees in 22 offices across Australia and New Zealand. Before CBRE, he served as Senior Vice President of Catellus Development Corporation in Colorado, where he led some of the state’s largest and most notable development projects.

Ray is a visionary and collaborative leader with extensive experience in real estate development, asset and property management, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, client solutions and transactions.
