After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1990, RC began a brokerage career that started with Fuller and Company where he focused on “all things Industrial”. RC managed the Industrial Department and was on the Board of Directors for this Denver firm that began in 1955. In 2010 the company merged with Cassidy Turley. While at Cassidy, RC started a Capital Markets Division that focused on investment sales of office, retail, and industrial assets. In 2015 Cassidy was purchased by a private equity investment consortium, DTZ. DTZ brought new resources with offices throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Later that same year, the firm merged with Cushman & Wakefield, to become one of the largest international real estate services companies.

In 2019 RC left C&W to take some time off and decide what was next. After a year of enjoying being a ski instructor at Copper Mountain he felt the draw to get back into commercial real estate brokerage. RC met the founder of a successful Denver based residential brokerage called Thrive Real Estate Group. Dave Ness, who started the firm in 2008, prides himself on his client centric focus, leading technology, and the core values of:

• Advocate Selflessly
• Execute Tightly
• Live Lightly

IN 2020 RC and Dave co-founded Thrive Commercial Group. RC is the Managing Broker of the Denver based firm. RC is a 30-year commercial real estate veteran, having completed over 1,000 sale and lease transactions totaling more than 20 million square feet of commercial space in the Rocky Mountain Region. His leadership in the industrial and investment marketplace is well recognized and he prides himself on his attention to detail and advocacy for his clients.

RC is married to his wife Karen, has 3 adult children and during his nonbusiness hours he enjoys everything Colorado has to offer including skiing, playing tennis, golfing, hiking, fishing, hunting etc. RC is active in the community having served on the Financial Advisory Board for the Colorado Center for the Blind, the Arapahoe Community College Foundation, the Planning Board for the City of Littleton and he is currently actively engaged with an organization that addresses food insecurity in Denver called Food for Thought.
