Rhys has been involved in commercial real estate since 1996, both as a principal and leading organizations at the senior executive/CEO level. He started his career in commercial real estate in his hometown of Vancouver as a project manager with the Larco Group of Companies, before moving to the U.S. in the late 1990’s. Based in Denver, Colorado, Rhys was a principal of Southwestern Investment Group, a mid-sized boutique development firm specializing in the development and acquisition of grocery-anchored shopping centers and the master planning and development of large scale master planned communities. There he oversaw the operations of the largest private landowner on the capital island of Nassau, and implemented a master planning and development strategy that included the construction of the island’s first grocery anchored mixed use town center.
Rhys graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1990. He currently divides his time between Vancouver and Denver, Colorado.
