Robert Peek is director of development systems performance for the City and County of Denver, where he focuses on process, technology, and organizational improvements for development review. Previously, Robert served as a process improvement specialist in the city’s finance department, where he specialized in helping staff across multiple city agencies identify and resolve process challenges in their work, improving the efficiency of some of the city’s most critical functions. Robert came to the City and County of Denver after more than a decade in grassroots organizing around social change, where he led membership and outreach operations for advocacy campaigns ranging from renewable energy to human rights to local elections to water conservation. Robert also previously served as deputy operations director with Next Step Living, a home energy efficiency company in Boston, Massachusetts. When he’s not empowering innovation and change, Robert enjoys spending time with family, woodworking and watching Indiana University basketball. Robert holds a B.S. in public and environmental affairs from Indiana University.
