Sam DePizzol is a trusted real estate advisor to many of Denver’s top corporations and law firms. Throughout his 20 years as a commercial real estate broker, he has represented hundreds of tenants in successful lease transactions totaling in excess of 12 million square feet of space.
Viewed as one of the industry’s foremost experts on downtown Denver, Sam specializes in occupancy strategies for Denver’s premier law and energy firms. Having devoted his career to representing office occupiers, he is widely regarded as one of Denver’s leading tenant representation brokers, consistently ranking as one of CBRE’s top brokerage professionals. Sam is an expert tenant advocate, negotiating superior transaction terms for his clients and advising them on real estate strategies. Representing nearly a third of all larger downtown office transactions annually, Sam is routinely quoted in the Wall Street Journal and other leading publications.
Having joined CBRE’s brokerage division in 2006, when CBRE acquired his group from The Staubach Company, Sam initially served as managing director for the downtown office. During that time, he was instrumental in growing office market share from 5% to over 40% within a four-year period. After CBRE acquired Trammell Crow, Sam elected to focus on representing tenants in the Denver market.
Sam is also a former federal prosecutor and Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Reserve. He and his wife live in Littleton with their six children.
