Sandi Thomas is the team lead for the Newland Denver office, bringing over 30 years of experience in community building, land development, entitlements, product programming, land strategic sales, and market positioning.

Sandi has primary responsibility for Denver-area communities Anthem, Inspiration, and Stonegate. Both Anthem and Inspiration offer a mix of traditional “all ages” homes and dedicated age-qualified 55+ neighborhoods.

Prior to joining the Newland team in 2015, Sandi operated Sinclair McLean, a consulting practice that provided outsourced project management and advisory services for developers and real estate investors. Sandi previously was president of Castle Rock Development Company and was with Mobil Land Development/Terrabrook managing regional sales and marketing for projects in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and California. In these former roles, Sandi held lead management roles on numerous Denver area communities, including The Meadows in Castle Rock, The Canyons, KingsPoint, and the Parklands.

Sandi is a member of and a past Chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Community Development Council (Gold Flight), a former member of the ULI Residential Neighborhood Development Council, and a member of the ULI Colorado Community Development Council. She is a former national President of the Institute of Residential Marketing, Trustee for the National Sales and Marketing Council, and Board of Director member for the Metro Denver Homebuilders Association. Sandi graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
