Shane Ewing, PE, DBIA, is a principal and team leader at Martin/Martin, Inc. a leading civil and structural consulting engineering firm supported by investigative, construction management, and survey services. The company and its predecessors have been operating in the Rocky Mountain Region since 1945. The firm is headquartered in Lakewood and has offices in Avon and Fort Collins, CO, as well as Wyoming, New Mexico, the California Bay Area, and Northwest Arkansas.

He has nearly 30 years of experience and specializes in providing general and specialty contractors with enhanced and accelerated fabrication drawings, specialty and component design and detailing, pre-fabrication and modular construction, and engineering and BIM solutions for specific jobsite needs. His expertise includes design-assist, connection design, and erection engineering for the structural steel industry, cold-formed steel and curtain walls, temporary and permanent shoring, contractor peer reviews, design-build, and industrial cranes. Shane has designed projects ranging from blast resistant structures to stadiums.

Shane has extensive experience with project design team collaboration, program criteria development, and design alternative development. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Colorado, Connecticut, Wyoming, New York, Florida, Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, as well as LEED AP certification. He has BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado, and is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (Colorado), Design-Build Institute of America, and Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute.
