Shannon is responsible for the strategic placement of Core’s acquisition dollars and development of new business opportunities. Shannon prides herself on the relationships she has built with consultants, developers, landowners and sellers, municipality staff and elected officials throughout her career. With over 24-years of experience in residential design, homebuilding and development, Shannon joined Core Spaces in May 2021 to start up BTR operations in Colorado. Previously, Shannon was with Brookfield Properties since 2012 as Vice President, leading the Land Acquisition, Land Development and Architecture Teams. Prior to Brookfield Properties,

Shannon worked for Hendricks Communities and Everest Development Company overseeing mixed-use residential, mixed-use commercial and multi-family developments as well as working for Richmond American Homes as the National Vice President of Architecture.

Shannon has a Bachelor of Environmental Design with concentration in Architecture as well as her Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Colorado.
