Steve Wessler joined Legacy Capital in March 2026 and serves as Director of FHA Originations. In this role, Steve coordinates with Loan Originators on the platform through client engagement, deal structuring and transactions management. Previously, he worked for 7 years at the CBRE as Senior Vice President of Production. Based in Denver, Mr. Wessler originates multifamily and healthcare loans with a focus on FHA-insured debt and Affordable/Workforce housing. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in multifamily finance.

Mr. Wessler has served on the Board of Directors and Loan Committee of Impact Development Fund (formerly Mile High Community Loan Fund), a Colorado Community Development Financial Institution.

Previously, he was a member of the Board of Trustees of Funding Partners. He is also active in Housing Colorado.

Mr. Wessler earned his Bachelor of Science – Business Administration degree from the University of Denver, majoring in Hotel & Restaurant Management.
