Taryn Edwards began her career in the construction industry in 1982 and is known for her strong and passionate leadership, as well as her drive for innovation and relationship-based approach to business. Edwards currently holds the position of managing partner in Saunders Concessions and senior vice president at Saunders Construction, Inc., overseeing the strategic development, planning and execution within the public-private partnership (P3) market. Edwards background in the public and private sectors includes extensive knowledge in the planning, policy, procurement and delivery process of the client’s assets. She specializes in planning construction costs, financing and construction scheduling for several alternative delivery options, including the P3 Delivery Model.

With the developing market in P3s, Edwards’ ability to create connections and manage complex challenges has proven her an invaluable asset to clients and the community. She is currently working with a portfolio of clients on their master planning strategies around development and delivery of the future assets of their facilities and campuses. Edwards was appointed and served as the executive director in the Jobs Cabinet under Governor Ritter for the State of Colorado. She serves on several community boards, investing her time in building a better future for local children and communities.
