Taylor Nelson serves as Senior Development Manager in the Denver office of Trammell Crow Company. Taylor joined TCC in September 2016 to manage the development of the 2.4M square foot Amazon Sort Facility at Thornton Crossing, and recently completed another 3.7M square foot Amazon Sort Facility and a 67,000 square foot “last mile” facility in Colorado Springs. Taylor is currently overseeing and collaborating with other TCC e-commerce distribution centers across other U.S. locations and pursuing additional development opportunities within the Denver market. Prior to TCC, Taylor worked closely with the TCC staff as part of the Kiewit Construction team on the Denver Union Station Project and the Arvada Transit Hub Project.
During his 14-year career, Taylor worked on a variety of projects including educational, civic, transportation, industrial, and office facilities. This experience on nearly $2B in substantial Denver-area projects has made him successful at leading and managing all aspects of a development including project entitlements, compliance, contract negotiation, change management, quality oversight, budgeting, construction scheduling and coordination, bidding, and permitting. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
