Tod Brainard is a Director, Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Tritower. His responsibilities include evaluating, structuring and implementing all aspects of Tritower’s real estate investment activities. Prior to Tritower and since 2003, Mr. Brainard was a Principal and Partner at Griffith Properties LLC where he initiated and managed the acquisition, financing, redevelopment, leasing and disposition of properties in the firm’s first three funds with properties located in the markets between Boston and Washington DC. Prior to Griffith, Mr. Brainard was a Vice President/Partner in capital raising and acquisitions at Leggat McCall Properties from 1996-2003. Before Leggat, he was a member of the Real Estate Finance Group within Investment Banking at Smith Barney, where he was involved in numerous REIT financings and portfolio asset sales. Mr. Brainard started his career in Real Estate as a commercial real estate broker at Edward S. Gordon Company in New York. Mr. Brainard is a graduate of Tulane University (B.A.) and Columbia Business School (M.B.A.).
