Todd Guthrie is the President of W.E. O’Neil Construction Company of Colorado. He began his nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry in the field as a project engineer. Over the course of his career he has served in every function of general contracting, from superintendent to estimator to President. During that time he earned his MBA from the University of Denver, garnering skills that he regularly utilizes in his business today.
In 1999 Todd opened the Denver office of W.E. O’Neil and grew it to an award winning general contracting firm. With a resume heavily weighted in the retail sector, Todd and the W.E. O’Neil team have built unmatched expertise in this market and long standing national and local relationships with a number of successful retail developers. Today Todd leads his team of estimators, superintendents and managers based on the values of integrity, teamwork, shareholder value, customer satisfaction and quality.
Currently Todd is a member of the Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Commission, the AGC Legislative Committee, the WPO and the Colorado University Real Estate Center. He has previously lead roundtable discussions and spoken at the ICSC Centerbuild Conference.
When he’s not working Todd enjoys spending time with his family including his 4 children and his wife Amy. He also enjoys golfing, skiing, playing tennis and hockey and coaching his kids’ soccer teams.
