Zach Bishop is the head of the special district group at Piper Sandler. He works with special districts and urban renewal authorities across the nation to raise capital for public infrastructure. In his 15 years of experience underwriting and placing special district debt, he has managed hundreds of transactions for billions of dollars in principal amount.

Bishop serves as the chair of the Metro District Education Coalition and is a former president of the Colorado Municipal Bond Dealers Association. He is past treasurer and board member of MEDA and a past board member of MicroVest Capital Management.

Bishop earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Goshen College, and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
