Nurturing talent at heart of Schnitzer West office towers

Schnitzer West has announced plans for three 16-story office towers designed to appeal to millennial workers migrating to the suburbs in search of housing and easy commutes. Westray, born from the idea of looking west, will consist of approximately 850,000 square feet of Class A office space on 11 acres at 6363 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. in Centennial. The site is across the street from Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre and just west of the Arapahoe at Village Center lightrail station.

Schnitzer West plans three-building office development in Centennial

Schnitzer West has announced plans to develop Westray, three 16-story Class A office towers at 6363 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. in Centennial. Westray will be developed in phases, with the first phase of the project to begin in the third quarter of next year. Phase one will consist of approximately 290,000 rentable sf. The building will offer an efficient standard floor plate size of 30,800 sf and a parking ratio of 3:1,000.

TerraCap pays $77.5 million for Centerpoint I & II

Investcorp and Schnitzer West announced that TerraCap Management, a privately held investment firm with its headquarters in Estero, Florida, has purchased Centerpoint I & II in Denver for $77.5 million. Centerpoint I & II occupy a combined 3.6 acres at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Interstate 25, midway between downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center. Tenants have access to walkable amenities and light-rail. Centerpoint I is a 168,486-square-foot, 14-story office tower and Centerpoint II is a 205,534-sf, 16-story tower. Schnitzer West and Investcorp purchased the adjacent Class-A towers in 2016.

Stantec to develop regional headquarters campus for Kiewit Corp. in RidgeGate

Stantec is serving as the architect and interior designer for the new regional headquarters campus for Kiewit Corp. The approximately 400,000-square-foot office complex is designed to accommodate more than 1,700 employees. Stantec is also providing landscape architecture and lighting design for the facility. Kiewit Building Group is leading construction as the general contractor for the project.

Westminster, Schnitzer West team on office at Downtown Westminster

The city of Westminster is partnering with developer Schnitzer West to bring 650,000 square feet of office development to two sites in Downtown Westminster. The first building will include ground floor retail with six to seven stories of office space above. It will be located in the heart of the 105-acre redevelopment site, which houses Alamo Drafthouse, 600 residential units that are either completed or under construction, and an Origin Hotel slated for completion in early 2020. Downtown Westminster is on the west side of U.S. Highway 36 at the Sheridan Boulevard interchange.
