Adams County ED names Martinez president, CEO
Bo Martinez was named the new president/CEO of Adams County Economic Development.
Most recently, Martinez served as director of economic development for the city of Miami Beach, Florida, where he repositioned the department to be a stronger resource in the city and region. Previously, he worked in progressive economic development leadership positions in the city and counties of Broomfield and Denver.
During his career, Martinez directed many public-private projects and initiatives that led to numerous national and international companies locating to Colorado and the creation of thousands of jobs, community investment and revitalization.
In his new role, Martinez will lead the organization on its mission to be the business-centric hub in Adams County for economic growth, advocacy and partnerships while promoting investments throughout the community. He will serve as the voice and champion for economic development and regional cooperation, providing visionary leadership to the organization and the Adams County business community.
First on Martinez’s agenda will be developing a long-range strategic plan for ACED that includes innovative and proven methods to attract and retain primary employers and capital investment in Adams County. In addition, he will lead proactive placemaking efforts to advocate for investments in community assets.
