Bill Edwards earns Certified Protection Professional certification

Bill Edwards of Thornton Tomasetti was awarded a CPP certification. The Certified Protection Professional is considered the “gold standard” certification for security management professionals and demonstrates your knowledge and competency in seven key domains of security.

Edwards has over 27 years of experience in operational/technical security, counter-terrorism, counter-intelligence, surveillance and counter-surveillance efforts. He served as the director of intelligence for Theater Special Operations Command-North. He designed a cohesive and collaborative counter-terrorism network with Department of Defense, law enforcement and inter-agency partners. Over the last several years, his experience in private-sector security work has entailed professional sports, health care, transportation, commercial real estate, retail, government, municipalities and public-use venues.
