CBRE promotes Benefield

Katie Benefield

Katie Benefield was promoted by CBRE to the position of sales director, investor services.

In this role, Benefield is responsible for leading the sales management platform for the firm’s five Colorado offices as well as driving increased market share and organizational growth for CBRE Capital Markets, Investor Leasing and Retail Services.

Benefield’s primary focus is growing the business by creating connectivity between the company’s professionals and the firm’s ever-expanding platform of services and tech-driven resources.

In 2015, Benefield spearheaded the launch of CBRE’s investor sales management organization in Colorado. Prior to that role, she served as capital markets operations manager with the firm’s Joint Venture and Structured Capital Services. Before joining the company, Benefield worked in sales management for Ecolab and in marketing for investment bank Piper Jaffray, both in Minnesota. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota.

She is based in the firm’s downtown Denver office.
