Devin Mitchell earns professional engineer license
Devin Mitchell was awarded a Professional Engineer license this spring. He has been with Thornton Tomasetti since 2013 and has seven years of Construction Engineering experience.
Currently working out of the Denver office, he specializes in steel connection design for temporary and final design conditions, as well erection engineering design and analysis. He enjoys being a resource to bridge the gap between fabricators and engineers to optimize projects. Primarily, he has spent his career in connection design, but also is well versed in structural design and load path analysis. Some notable projects that he has had major involvement in include the 30 Hudson Yards building and observation deck; the Applied Underwriters headquarters; and the roof of Belmont Arena, the soon-to-be new home of the NY Islanders.
