The former Gold Star Sausage factory in River North sold for $14.85 million after taking on new life as creative office/retail space.

Manchester Capital Management LLC, on behalf of a Southern California family office, bought the 47,326-square-foot building at 2800 Walnut St. in Denver from Pathfinder Winfield RiNo Holdings LLC. The seller was still in the process of leasing up the building following a complete renovation. About 40 percent of the space was occupied.

The building houses two high-end showrooms, Solesdi U.S., a dealer of Giorgetti furnishings and Boffi kitchen and bath systems, and Design Wright Studios.

“We really like the buyer. We think they will continue on with what we were going to do, so we think they’ll be a good steward for the building and good for RiNo,” said Trent Rice of NAI Shames Makovsky, who represented and was part of the group that sold the property. Todd Snyder of NAI Shames Makovsky represented the buyer.
