Hyder promotes Huelskamp to president
Matt Huelskamp was promoted to president of Hyder Construction.
Huelskamp has served as the firm’s vice president for two years and has been with the company for 11. He will become the firm’s fifth president in the company’s 72-year history.
Since joining the firm, Huelskamp has served in several positions. His primary focus as executive vice president has been partnering with the president and upper management to address priorities within the organization that are critical to its success and leading key business functions relating to business development and talent management. Prior to his role as executive vice president, he served as director of business development.
Huelskamp graduated from the University of Denver with an undergraduate degree in real estate and construction management as well as an executive Master of Business Administration degree.
Tom McLagan, who had served as the firm’s president for 20 years, will assume the role of executive chairman and will continue to work with Huelskamp on the company’s strategic initiatives and assist with various business-related functions.
