Kenneth Andrews wins AIA Young Architects Award
Kenneth Andrews, a principal at Arch11, Architecture and Design, was honored by the American Institute of Architects with a 2020 AIA Young Architects Award. He is one of a field of 22 receiving this award, and the only Colorado architect.
Andrews has brought additional rigor to Arch11’s design leadership by directing project delivery and introducing new technology into the firm’s design process, while creating innovative project solutions that have garnered multiple design awards. He also has received the Young Architect Award in 2011 from both AIA Colorado and AIA Western Mountain Region.
He earned a degree in environmental design from the University of Colorado, then graduated from Rice University in Houston with a Master of Architecture degree and the Pitman Prize for Excellence in Architecture.
Andrews’s projects range from residential projects to commercial and civic projects that stress a high level of design.
