A large group of primarily Latin American investors purchased a 14,514-square-foot office/flex building in East Boulder.
The property at 5660 Valmont Road sold for $2.9 million, or $199.80 per sf. The buyer was 4015 Lincoln LLC, doing business as 5660 Valmont LLC.
The building is fully leased to the Denver Post, Work in Progress and Jim Morris Environmental T-Shirt Co.
Eric Rutherford of WK Real Estate, who represented the buyer and also is an investor in the buying entity, said the Latin American group was interested in owning the property because it views the United States as a safe place to invest. The Boulder location also was a draw for the buyers, as well as other investors.
“We received multiple offers, as this type of flex product in this location is in high demand for tenants and investors,” said Scott Crabtree of The Colorado Group. Crabtree and Christian Smith, also of The Colorado Group, represented the seller, 5660 Valmont Road LLC.
