Laurie Galbraith joins Rocky Mountain Communities as resident services manager
Laurie Galbraith joined Rocky Mountain Communities as resident services manager. Galbraith oversees the programs and services at the organization’s Garden Court property in the Lowry neighborhood of Denver. The property includes 300 units housing 700 residents. Prior to COVID-19, this role would have included creating and supporting after-school programs, senior engagement and outreach, food insecurity stabilization and hosting events to build rapport and community engagement. Currently, her role includes filling the gaps for residents who’ve been affected by the trickle-down effect of the virus. Her role is to ensure the Garden Court community has the tangible resources they need to stay healthy, well and stable.
Prior to joining Rocky Mountain Communities, Galbraith worked as a trainer and facilitator for Common Ground Advising, as the health program coordinator at the African Community Center, and the volunteer program manager for Habitat for Humanity, among other positions. Her experience as a nonprofit program manager spans more than 10 years and includes service delivery, resource coordination and community advocacy — specifically within multicultural and multigenerational communities.
