Mortenson hires Spray as new business development manager

Alejandra “Ale” Spray

Alejandra “Ale” Spray was hired as Mortenson’s newest business development manager in Denver.

Spray has more than 18 years of experience in Colorado’s architecture, construction and engineering industries, with a dedicated expertise in community outreach.

Spray began her career as a project engineer for Boulder-based Complex Tooling & Molding before operating as marketing director for Denver’s AMI Mechanical for the past 16 years. In addition to designing the business procurement strategies for AMI Mechanical, Spray led the company’s internal and external brand and marketing initiatives, market and client research, business unit positioning and differentiation, budget management, employee wellness programs, and community outreach and fundraising.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education in 1996 and her professional engineering degree in civil engineering in 1998
