NexGen names Bernstein director of acquisitions, asset management

Matt Bernstein

Matt Bernstein was appointed director of acquisitions and asset management at NexGen Properties.

Bernstein brings to his new position a diverse background in commercial real estate brokerage, development, finance, asset management and operations.

He previously served as a managing partner at Hier & Company Inc., a local real estate firm specializing in land development, brokerage and property management, where he oversaw the development lifecycle for more than $30 million in commercial assets.

Prior experience includes almost 10 years at Prologis Inc. in strategic operations, investment management and analysis. Bernstein received his Master of Science in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver and his Bachelor of Arts in economics and environmental studies from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a licensed real estate broker and community association manager in the state of Colorado and Realtor.
