JE Dunn broke ground this month Colorado State University System’s new Denver campus. Spur will allow the public to explore and interact with educational content around water, food and health.

CannonDesign in Denver: Embracing its Roots

CannonDesign’s new home in the RiNo Arts District has roots stretching back more than 40 years in Denver. The history gets a bit labyrinthine, however: Denver’s Klipp Architecture opened its doors in 1979; California’s gkkworks acquired Klipp in 2012. Founded in Denver in 1989, Bennett Wagner Grody Architects joined CannonDesign in 2017. CannonDesign, first established in 1945 in New York, now has 19 offices and about 1,000 employees in all.

Saunders Construction, 4240 Architecture kick off CSU student housing project

Saunders Construction Inc. in conjunction with 4240 Architecture Inc. were awarded the design and construction for Meridian Village, one of Colorado State University’s largest projects to date. At full build-out, Meridian Village will accommodate 1,600 students in both traditional and pod communities to continue to support student success and engagement.

Design Influence: Page is Always Thinking about Design

Page is a 121-year-old firm that originated in Austin, Texas. Presently, there are seven domestic offices and international offices in Dubai and Mexico City. The firm’s portfolio encompasses a broad balance of government, health care, aviation, academic, civic and commercial projects. Like the best of many things, skill, craftsmanship, time, tools and, ultimately, experience is what produces the best architecture.

OZ Architecture designs Nancy Richardson Design Center at CSU

OZ Architecture led design on Colorado State University’s Nancy Richardson Design Center. The $19.2 million, state-of-the-art project covers 45,000 square feet and will further CSU's mission as a national leader in design. Salt Design in Fort Collins assisted OZ with the design while Saunders Construction was the general contractor.
