Sage Hospitality, along with Walnut Development Partners and EXDO Development, recently broke ground on a new hotel development in Denver’s River North Art District. The unnamed hotel is located at 3770 Walnut St., steps from the 38th and Blake commuter rail station.

Denver Metro Village, MGL Partners and Milender White began construction on the renovation and expansion project for DMV in Denver. Located on West Colfax Avenue off Quitman and Raleigh streets, DMV has been providing affordable housing for seniors for more than 50 years.

Demand for hotel rooms in downtown Denver in recent years could conservatively be described as ravenous. With Lonely Planet naming Denver one of the top 10 cities to visit in 2020, there are reasons to expect that this trend will continue.

Late last month, Partners Group opened its new Americas headquarters, consisting of a newly constructed 129,400-square-foot campus in Broomfield. Swinerton Builders was the general contractor while Open Studio Architecture designed the project.

In their place, law firms are introducing standardized offices, digital files, fixed fees and greater transparency in both their procedures and environments. 

W.E. O’Neil completed the S’Park Market office building, the contractor’s first building turnover on the 10-acre S’Park project with developers The John Buck Co. and Element Properties. It was designed by WorksBureau, based in Arizona.

But the state is coming to a point of no return now as it makes way for a recreation-dominant economy, pushing beyond its industrial and mining past to embrace a more diverse set of economic drivers.

GH Phipps recently completed the addition to McKinley- Thatcher Elementary school in Denver. The addition was designed by the Cuningham Group. McKinley-Thatcher now has six new classrooms, including a technology lab and art studio, a new gymnasium floor and outdoor learning spaces.
