Vertix Builders breaks ground on Zeppelin Development’s Kabin project in Rino

Kabin will provide workforce housing to service industry and young professionals with a downtown location and amenities.

Vertix Builders last month broke ground on Zeppelin Development’s Kabin, 194 workforce housing units in River North at 3461 Ringsby Court.

Kabin will provide workforce housing to service industry and young professionals with a downtown location and amenities. Designed by a collaboration including Dynia Architects, Wenk Associates and Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture, the residences will primarily be one-bedrooms with wood panel detailing on the exterior and interior areas, providing a warmer pallet. Enhanced appliances, lighting and plumbing fixture packages will be provided, and operable glass garage doors – a Zeppelin signature – will be included in every unit to maximize sunlight.

Residents will have easy access to all of the amenities and services on the Taxi campus, including Comal, Black Black Coffee, a shipping container pool, conference rooms, community garden, early childcare education center and more.

Kabin is scheduled for completion in summer 2020.
