MW Golden Constructors recently broke ground on Sandstone Ranch in Larkspur. It will be Douglas County’s newest open space when work is completed.

Ascent Living Communities, Focus Property Group and Blue Moon Capital Partners recently broke ground on a state-of-the-art senior living community in Denver’s Hilltop neighborhood. The former milk processing and distribution center will provide a contemporary, metropolitan-style living environment with community services and amenities for active seniors.

Saunders Construction Inc. in conjunction with 4240 Architecture Inc. were awarded the design and construction for Meridian Village, one of Colorado State University’s largest projects to date. At full build-out, Meridian Village will accommodate 1,600 students in both traditional and pod communities to continue to support student success and engagement.

Last month, GE Johnson and Peak Custom Fabrication crews erected and installed the highest steel beam on the Pikes Peak Summit Complex. Per tradition, the beam was flanked by the American and Colorado state flags.

Pickard Chilton’s 1144 Fifteenth, a 40-story, 1.2 million-gross square-foot office tower project in Colorado that the firm designed for Hines, has been ranked fifth on Emporis’ 2018 Top Ten Skyscrapers List.

Sage Hospitality, along with Walnut Development Partners and EXDO Development, recently broke ground on a new hotel development in Denver’s River North Art District. The unnamed hotel is located at 3770 Walnut St., steps from the 38th and Blake commuter rail station.

Denver Metro Village, MGL Partners and Milender White began construction on the renovation and expansion project for DMV in Denver. Located on West Colfax Avenue off Quitman and Raleigh streets, DMV has been providing affordable housing for seniors for more than 50 years.

Late last month, Partners Group opened its new Americas headquarters, consisting of a newly constructed 129,400-square-foot campus in Broomfield. Swinerton Builders was the general contractor while Open Studio Architecture designed the project. 

W.E. O’Neil completed the S’Park Market office building, the contractor’s first building turnover on the 10-acre S’Park project with developers The John Buck Co. and Element Properties. It was designed by WorksBureau, based in Arizona.
