Luxury apartments break ground on Harmony corridor

WestCorp Management Group and client Terra Development Group have broken ground on The Wyatt, a 368-unit luxury apartment community in Fort Collins.

Located just east of Interstate 25 at the intersection of Harmony Road and Strauss Cabin Road, the nearly $80 development will include one- to three-bedroom units with stainless steel appliances, wood vinyl flooring, dark wood kitchen cabinetry, quartz countertops throughout the kitchens and bathrooms, and large private balconies.

While WestCorp has managed properties in Colorado, The Wyatt is Terra’s first in the state. Terra said there is a significant need for additional multifamily units in the Fort Collins market and it is a strong believer in the strength and growth of the Fort Collins and Northern Colorado economies. The company is actively searching for additional development opportunities in Colorado.

The Wyatt will feature resort-style amenities, including a swimming pool with poolside retreat cabanas, hot tub, steam room, library, coffee café, bike repair station, car care center, walking trails, dog park and pet stations, along with a full 24/7 fitness center with group classes.

“Our work with new communities involves creating both a style and a brand that will leave a meaningful impression on the community’s future,” said Emily McCann, WestCorp Management Group vice president of marketing. “With The Wyatt, we worked directly with the development team to design a final product that would really resonate with Fort Collins residents.”

WestCorp served as a partner to Terra Development Group in the community’s design, marketing, business and management process. It also is responsible for hiring the on-site management team, staffing the leasing office, and managing maintenance issues and requests. WestCorp manages more than 16,000 apartment units across the country.

Vaught Frye Larson Aronson designed The Wyatt, which is being built by general contractor Shaw Construction. The community is scheduled for completion in early spring 2019.
