Petersen joins Cushman & Wakefield

Erik Petersen

Erik Petersen joined Cushman & Wakefield as its new director of Project & Development Services in Denver.

Petersen will lead the group and has more than 18 years of multidisciplinary industry experience across construction and development, along with other areas of commercial construction in real estate. His background includes representing a large occupier client as a single point of contact directing a team of professional and global projects focused in North America as well as holding a lead role as a player/coach with both strategic capital planning and tactical project delivery responsibilities.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as a global real estate leader with a global Fortune 500 electronics firm, where he was directly responsible for managing the capital budgets with tenant improvements and lease transactions for the Americas.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University and a Construction Management Certification from Colorado State University. He also served in the U.S. Army and in the National Guard.
