Jenny Robinson was promoted to chief investment officer at Continuum Partners.
Robinson has been with the firm since 2005 and has served as finance manager, development manager, and director of capital markets and asset management. In her new position, Robinson will lead all debt and equity transactions and direct asset management activities.
Robinson originally joined the company’s finance department, where she worked on sourcing debt and equity for nearly all of Continuum’s development projects to date as well as underwriting new project opportunities. In that capacity, she was involved in several billion dollars of financial structuring and underwriting. Following a brief move to California and Nevada, Robinson returned to the firm in 2014 in the role of development manager on the 9+CO and A Block teams and in the spring of 2015, she transitioned back to run the finance department.
She began her career in real estate with Principal Financial Group as a commercial mortgage underwriter. She was responsible for the procurement and management of portfolio and securitized mortgage investments for private and public debt clients. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in finance and accounting and went on to complete a master’s degree in finance and real estate from the University of Colorado Boulder.
As CIO, Robinson will continue to oversee the finance department, which is responsible for the financing structures for all of the firm’s projects and she will now be a member of the executive committee, which oversees all investment decisions for the company
