The former milk processing and distribution center will provide a contemporary, metropolitan-style living environment with community services and amenities for active seniors.

Denver Metro Village, MGL Partners and Milender White began construction on the renovation and expansion project for DMV in Denver. Located on West Colfax Avenue off Quitman and Raleigh streets, DMV has been providing affordable housing for seniors for more than 50 years.

Taylor Kohrs recently completed construction of the new Enterprise Green Community, Vistas at Panorama Pointe, in Westminster. The 63,000-square foot, four-story seniors apartment building includes 69 units with a combination of one- and two-bedroom floor plans with private balconies and covered parking. 

In 2018 there were 754,000 residents aged 65 and older in Colorado, who comprised 13.4% of the total population. This is below the national average of 15.3%. The baby boomer generation includes all people born between 1946 and 1964. Boomers are now between 55 and 73 years of age. A decade from now, when all the boomers will be 65 and older, they will comprise over 18% of the total population.

Christian Living Communities and the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce recently held a grand opening celebration for Eagle Pointe, CLC’s support office building in Meridian office park. Pinkard Construction Co. was the general contractor while Galloway Architects designed the project. 

Construction is complete on the Yale 25 Station apartments located at 5121 E. Yale Ave. in Denver. Yale Station is a five-story, transit-oriented apartment complex located in the heart of Denver close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. Jordon Perlmutter & Co. developed the project, which was designed by OZ Architecture and built by Shaw Construction.
