Unico Properties recently completed a $1.9 million renovation of the 257,253-square foot, 14-story Colorado Square building, located at the corner of Pikes Peak Avenue and North Nevada Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs. 

On the heels of its 10th anniversary in downtown Denver, Page has moved its growing team to the top floor of the city’s tallest building, the iconic Republic Plaza. With window-lined walls, the new office of the international architecture and engineering firm is filled with light and embraces dramatic views of the mountains. 

Haselden Construction recently topped out two new buildings at Colorado Mountain College’s Spring Valley campus in Glenwood Springs. Haselden is building a 34,000-square-foot fitness center and the 16,000-sf Ascent Center, which will serve as the welcome center and entrance focal point for the campus. 

Have you ever noticed that after you buy a new car, you start to notice that model of car everywhere you look? I like to think about the city the same way, less shiny new toy and more dependable. But lately it is as if I bought a new city called “smart” because everywhere I look, I see this idea of a smart city. 

Completed in 1972, Independence Plaza’s 567,287 square feet span 25 floors at 1050 17th St. The Class A property is LEED Gold certified, and the scrupulous attention paid to its upkeep and improvement have made it one of the finest addresses in Denver’s central business district. 

Pinkard Construction recently delivered Sienna Sloans Lake, which was designed by Van Meter Williams Pollack. Koelbel and Co. and Trailbreak Partners developed the 49-unit affordable apartment project on the old St. Anthony Hospital campus. 

A block south of the Colorado Convention Center in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood, the seven-story, 322-unit TriVista on Speer apartment building is named for three different panoramas: to the west, the mountains; to the north, downtown; and to the east, the Denver Art Museum and the heart of the Golden Triangle’s Cultural District. 

Adolfson & Peterson recently broke ground on the University of Colorado Boulder College of Music building addition. The addition will mark a major step toward consolidating College of Music programming into one facility.

Pinkard Construction, with owner Sierra Vista Housing Partners, owner’s representative The ITEX Group, and Workshop8 architects, has completed renovations of the $10.9 million Sierra Vista affordable apartments in Denver.

The Henry sits on a 4-acre, triangle-shaped parcel in the Gates redevelopment area framed by East Mississippi, South Sherman and the Valley Highway/light rail lines. After some careful study, Carmel Partners came on board as owner, developer and contractor.
